Card/Antenna for Auditing
Sorry if this has been posted previously. I already searched this message board, but there are too many conflicting posts.

I am a computer consultant and would like to offer wireless security audit scans as a services. I am interested in what wireless cards and external antennas work best with Netstumbler.

Does anyone have model numbers of these components that they have found to work well?

There is no need to crosspost.

I don't know what you mean by conflicting. The general opinion here is the Orinoco card or rebadge will work best. I don't think you have put as much research into this as you are implying. Keep reading and searching.

Perhaps the reason why there are so many conflicting posts is that there are many different configurations that work, and many that don't work or work only in specific circumstances. If you are going to be offering a security audit to a paying customer, I would hope you would at least have the patience to read through some forum archives...
