Card manufacturer with same chipset?
Hi,
I recently had the mini-pci wireless card in my US robotics router burn out after a dodgy power supply. After getting a replacement power adapter, i found that the rest of the router (switch, webpage, etc) works perfectly fine. However, i will need to haver the wireless card replaced as it has noticeable damage on the chip package. The problem is, i cant seem to find a replacement mini-pci card with the same chipset. The chipset is a Texas Instruments TNETW1130 (ACX11). Does anybody know of any other manufacturers that sell this chipset card separately, and if so, where i could pick one up? Cheers!!! ![]() |

Best bet would be to replace the whole thing since power supplies that go bad (see the DVD "PowerSupplies gone wild" by "Spark Doggy Dog") tend to damage other components.
