Cheap Parabolics
this guy selling cheap parabolics.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1371207982 he has 12,18,21,24dBi models search "mmds" on ebay. this guy used them for wifi: http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/page04.html no, i am not affiliated w/ them. just thought it looked like a good deal. the stuff is new. i'm thinking of getting one and putting on a biquad feed to replace the cheap sh*t it comes with. also get rid of the RG-8...that is too lossy.

Hmmm...wonder the quality of them. Seems almost TOO cheap. Then there's this line- "GUARANTEED TWO WEEK DELIVERY"
Wow! Like it's a bonus that it takes two weeks to get to you. They must do a lot of handling in the shipping and handling part $25 shipping almost kills the deal.

the ham guy who uses them has a spec sheet from the manufacturer:
http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/lance_specs.html the prices are inline with wholesale. i guess this just goes to show you how much of a ripoff most antennas are. the 2-week delay is because AFAIK the factory is drop shipping them for the guy. i happen to live near the factory, so he's going to see if he can set up will call - no shipping ![]() i know the $25 sounds like a lot, but other places i've checked such as aerialix charge as much. that's why i've been balking on buying a parabolic up until now...like you said, the shipping kills it.
