Ok, what you need is:
1) A Laptop 2) An Orinoco Card (Or other supported device) 3) AN attenna if you need one As for a GPS, I cant answer that one. Most Garmins have serial interfaces availible. One would presume with a little SEARCHING, one could see if the protocol used by them is supported by Netstumbler. I cant vouche for this info as I dont use a GPS with Netstubler. As for Google Maps etc.. Do the searching. Plotting the hits on a normal GPS package (Which most GPS's come with) shouldnt be to hard. I cant see the need to use Google Maps. Words of Advice: Like yourself, i'm new here. But the above intel isnt rocket science. I could be talking rubbish, but at least I did some sort of searching. At the end of the day, its common politeness to Mods and Experienced Posters.
