So much for the messy setup and low-level equipment guys. GROW UP
Bullshit.

You stated in your previous post that the problem doesn't present itself for 5 or 6 weeks.

By my math, 5 or 6 weeks hasn't passed since you started this thread and your alleged solution.

I was using 123.7(JA1) on 2 of the AP's (the one that has to be rebooted all the time)

I'm now waiting for my dealer to send me an updated IOS software. Thanks for all your help.

Wow.. In one minute he got the updated IOS file, went to the customer site, and updated 2 AP's, and then came back in time to post on the NS forums ??

That must be norwegian techsupporter speak for "I'm hoping that it will fix it, when it gets here. In the mean time I'll tell the customer that we have fixed it, and keep my fingers crossed that the problem doesn't reappear in 5-6 weeks."

Gentlemen. A prime example of clueslessness trying to play a game of C.Y.A.

I'm just curious how he jumped to that IOS was the solution. Seems like there was someone there that knew what to look for and asked him to post all kinds of relevant information.

He should just quit his job anyhow for just the design reason as a start. The IOS issue I can live with but that design is just wrong is so many ways.

3 of the 5 AP's I have already updated before I installed the site, so I know how it works. The last 2 was bough and installed by another person, and I haven't given version numbers any though.

I'll use the archive update-sw tftp: command (I have the manual laying around here somewere
What a twat, the command is:

archive download-sw /overwrite /reload tftp://192.168.2.1/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-7.JA.tar

of course one must change the file name to match what they are trying to upload.
