connector for Apple's airport card
Does anyone know what type of connector is on the antennae end of an "airport" card from Apple. I heard that the model is a lucent wavelan something-or-other, but it is hard to get details on this, especially from Apple. The cards I'm referring to are the ones you can purchase or have built to order with iBooks and PowerBook G4's not necessarily the cards inside of the airport hub. I'd like to attach an external antenna to my TiBook and need to know.

patch cables
I know all of the early apple wireless products were made by Lucent. If you have a pcmcia card with a small connector at the end (usually under a small round plastic cap) then you probably have a lucent card. This is the same type of card found inside the apple airport. If this is the case, you will need a lucent to n male patch cable. A good source (reasonably priced) is from antenna systems. They have 4 models from 12 inches to 60 inches long. See "Lucent/ Orinoco to N Male" cables on the link below.
