Connectors and Cables
Some info please;
Have seacrched the Forum and the Net but cannot find a guide on how to fit an N Connector, pretty basic stuff and I have connected a couple but want to check that I am doing it correctly. The connectors are Male in Line these appear to be solderless and crimpless. Source - Maplins.co.uk and E Bay. Couple of questions on Cable I have RG58 which I have been advised is not suitable for 2.4Ghz RF (To much Loss) I also have some URM67. This also appears to be not rated for 2.4Ghz use. Anyone give the best supplier for LMR 400 in the UK? Many thanks |

Thanks for the info, I was in my Garage trying to fit the connectors when I posted this had found the install for Amphenol connectors but these are different and I don't know who made them, bought on E Bay, I have contacted the sellers shop.
They have a fixed male pin and slightly different internal components. |
