D-Link 650
I just got this card from buy.com, but it seems to be a slight bit different than the older DWL-650's. Its not a DWL-650+, but the antenna looks different than the others. Its a D-Link Air DWL-650. It has a square antenna at the end that is the complete width of the card itself, unlike the other versions I have seen the how-to for adding the external connector. I am already to solder, but the case seems a bit tough to get off.....can anyone help me out. Thanks!

ok, i went to my local microcenter and bought the dwl-650+ instead seeing as how its a newer card and hopefully someone figures out a way to attach an external antenna to it.

The DWL-650+ is an amazing card out of the box, btw.....33 APs on the way home

I saw a couple posts when i was searching that someone had modified the 650+ to hook up an external antenna, but no one provided a link or details in their posts....is there something i'm missing in the FAq's or can someone post the URL for me. Thanks!
