Dell TrueMobile 1300 Issue

I am having a problem with my Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN MiniPCI card. It has nothing to do with NetStumbler, but it's pissing me off.

I have a Dell Inspiron 8500. The Dell TrueMobile card, I installed myself and it works great ... for the most part.

The problem I am having is that the damned thing seems to be powering off.

I leave my laptop plugged into AC power with the battery disconnected when I go to work. I have it setup so I can connect via MSRDP from work. I typically have no issue connecting initially, but quite frequently if I disconnect (not log off) my RDP session, even minutes later I cannot connect back up.

I am running Windows Server 2003 Standard (Don't ask), but have no other services being used on this system. When this happens, I have run a ping from my web server to my laptop which returns destination host unreachable.

When I arrive home, I can log on to my laptop and am on the internet just fine.

My first thought was this was an issue with Terminal Services, but I can't see that it could be since the computer becomes completely unreachable.

I have turned off power save mode in Device Manager for the card. My power configuration on the computer is set to Always On. I have done everything I can think of to ensure that the computer is not turning the wireless card off, but I have no idea what is happening.

One other point of mention. When I get home and try to open up the TrueMobile wireless configuration thing from the Control Panel, it returns an error which I cannot recall exactly and says I need to reboot. Something about the configuration.

I have not reinstalled the drivers, but I did just recently reload my system so I can dual boot Slackware 10.2 and this issue was happening before and continues after the reload.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
