did delorme gps hack and ns freaks out
i keep getting "no position fix" blinking at me in the corner
but my mapsource reads the gpsinfo fine i never had the delorme software so ive never been able to use the gps until i did the hack

I don't know what the hack is your refering to so this might not be related.
Using my Gamin with Delorme software I had to set the Gamin to either NMAE/NMAE or set it to Garmin/Garmin in the communications screen. Once I did that the Delorme software was happy. If this doesn't apply then please disregard ![]() -Jay |

Did you fuck up your Tripmate, or is this another hack that escapes me at the moment?
I saw the tripmate modifications and decided to make me a nice external box to accomplish the same thing. This was the modification to force the unit on and to loop ASTRAL.

yes the astral loop!
no its not fucked up it works with mapsource i set my netstumbler to nmea it works but it keeps blinking no gps fix even thought the gps co-ords change
