Broadcom- Overpriced, but they work well for windows. They won't give out driver source, so you won't see monitor mode, or linux (Unless you use the windows drivers in linux)
A lot of software is designed for the Prism, Atheros, and Orinoco chipsets. NS support isn't that good for Atheros, but linux support is for them. I wouldn't buy anything else.
