dLink DSB-120
has anyone used the USB based dlink (dsb120) with netstumbler?

No it will not work. Currently Netstumbler will not work with any PRISM based cards. Get the USB version of the Lucent/ Orinoco gold or silver. These work great for me... plus my wife thinks it looks really cool sitting on top of my truck. Then again, maybe not. It does work good with Netstumbler though, and no external antenna needed- just a USB extension cable.

hmm?

so, since netstumbler won't take any Prism2 based cards, is there a card that can be used with both netstumbler and airsnort ? I beleve airsnort takes only prism2 cards?

You'll need two cards. One Prisim for AirSnort, One Lucent for Netstumbler.
