Drivers for RoamAbout?

Should I be using the Orinoco 7.6 drivers? Atm I'm using the ones from Enterasys, 7.44.18.403, no complaints.

Also, how do I test whether 128-bit WEP is working properly on this card? It was a Silver card flashed up to Gold with 8.10 firmware by somebody else, however, 128-bit WEP doesn't work with my DrayTek Vigor 2600We so I'm not really sure.

If I upgrade to the Orinoco 7.6 drivers, is there a chance I will get flashed back down to Silver, in the case I am actually Gold now?

OS is Windows XP Pro SP1.

first off it is 128 bit wep

2nd off you cant use a passphrase between hermes / prism equipment u must use hex codes thats why the 128 isnt working

u should use whatever client works its all really the same thing

Ahhhhhh! Thank you so much TheSovereign! And suddenly I realise why my router shows up in Netstumbler named 'Prism 1'!

I'm not using any client program, just the built-in XP wireless support which I think is very handy.

So I can use (if I want) the Orinoco drivers with no problems.
