EnGenius and SSID
Hello all,
First I would like to thank you guys for all the information this forum provides as I have been lurking here for quite some time. After reading every post on every thread that came up on a search concerning the EnGenius Senao cards, I still am unclear on their performance when it comes to Netstumbler. In a couple of posts the users indicated that when using these cards a broadcasted SSID would not show up on stumbler, is this a driver or firmware issue that has been resolved? I have seen some rather pricey kits on ebay utilizing this card. I am rather happy with my Gold but I am goint to be setting up a new stumbler rig and was curious as to the EnGenius' stumbling performance. Thanks you in advance for any info. ![]() |

Well based on the amount of replies, i think I will stay with the tried and true Orinco Gold..
Just scored a great deal on a ipaq 5455 so looks like I am going to need 2 more cards..... ack NS'ing sure is getting expensive. But I am a sucker for new toys.![]() |
