External Yagi Antenna into Enterasys PCMCIA
Ive got an external Yagi plugged into my enterasys PCMCIA.
Question is. Does the card automatically disable its own antenna and use the external one or is it controlled in software ? Sorry if it sounds a dumb question. |

Moved to Hardware.
Yes, the connector disconnects the card's internal antenna, although some things I've seen from ORiNOCO indcate that the external antenna it is just running parallel to the intenal one. In either event, it's not contained in software.
