Fabcorp 5db mag mount question

How do you dismantle the above mentioned antenna? The actual antenna part pushed down through the rubber bottom because it has come un-soldered from the cable. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why would you dismantle it? It's well built and I don't even see how it could be taken apart...

thats a good question...i was thinking that myself the other day...worrying about what would happen if i some how wore through the wire by slamming it in the door or something(frequent occurance lol)...

Um to fix it maybe?

I can see where the solder point broke but it's not wide enough to get the solder gun in there and it get's 0 signal the way it is. I don't really want to have to dump more money into a new antenna if I can fix this one. Thanks.

Write fabcorp and tell them their antenna fell apart and get a new one.
