If that's going to be worth the asking price, I hope it has a spectrum analyzer for the wireless portion.

Fluke makes some seriously good shit, though. I have one of their Fluke 77 multimeteres from about 20 years ago, and it's one of my favorite tools.

you damn right it has it.

can see whos connected to every ap, sniff that ip, see how much data everyone has transferred (and at what speeds) on that AP, etc. etc.

mrdquick must know what he's talking about when it comes to networks. yup, he sure does.

nice lcd on it, it's basically a laptop/tablet pc. the wired based sniffing fawking rools, the wireless is very nice as well.

oh, does kismet have 1000base-x on it? oh wait, it's software, nm....

Considering that it has nothing to do with Wireless... NO!

Does the Fluke do Turbocell? No.
Does the Fluke allow you to give it a Wep key so that it can decode traffic? Probably not.
Does it include a REAL spectrum Analizer for 2.4 GHz? Not according to their Web and Flash demo.
(It just shows you what channels stuff is on. That's NOT a spectrum Analizer...)
Is it a cool little piece of hardware? Yep....
Does it really do that much more than Airopeek and Kismet on the wireless side? Nope....

Oh, and guess what? There's no 802.11g or 802.11a support...

1) you can run wahtever external software you want on there
including putting linux on it.

2) yes there is a full spectrum analyzer

i think wanderer has something up his ass.
