Garmin Venture GPS

I searched on the boards found a few things out, but NS still wont see my Garmin..Its set to NMEAOUT keeps saying it times out. Any ideas?

Make sure your Garmin is set to RTCM/NMEA 4800 baud.

Make sure that NS is looking at the correct com port, and is looking for the correct protocol. Version 0.3.3 can read Garmin's output...

The new version of NS also supports the Garmin Protocol.....

Well it turned out to be a bad cable. I called Garmin and they sent a free replacement 2nd day UPS. It works great now. Thanks for the help and thumbs up to Garmin for the great CS =)
