NDIS are part of XP, you can set netstumbler to use them by selecting "Device" on the menu.

However, I'm not sure if it will work with your card.

Also i found on this site a link to make a Cantenna out of a Pringles can. Is that a easy-good antenna to make?

Also are there any other programs that can detect and maby force a connect for Windows?

Ok

I have goten the router in a place between the 2 houses. Now. Its kinda a crappy signal but as long as it holds im ok. Now the reason we are also getting into this is because he has DSL and i have 56Krap. (It is legal we asked Covad and they said they dont care as long as we dont have a 1.5 meg server running for a full month at max speed). I need to things with this now. How do i get the net to talk through one computer, go through the router, and than to my comp. Also how do I change the info on all these wireless connections so i dont keep loosing signal every time my mom walks near my room with the 2.4ghz phone?

P.S. Sorry to be a pest on here but once i get DSL i will finally be able to play my fav games online again. This 56K is dying by the day and my Mom wont get DSL for our house. Fine ill be the only one with it then lol.

Have your buddy set his router for DHCP and you should be able to join his network.
