Wow.. That one on ebay is almost exactly the same as one I just built out of PVC and parts from home depot.. $10 for enough parts to build 3-4 of em. (w/o figuring in the N Connector)
Design here: http://www.netscum.com/~clapp/wireless.html Gotta love refridgerator coil, some washers, and some 1/8" threaded rod.. All you need is a dremel and some decent calipers. |

My hypothesis is proven.
I was wondering how he knew the price. And he knew where the picture was even though it was hidden without a link from the main site. Here's a hint for next time: get your website ready before posting an advertisement. (With prices, shipping, etc.) Have a nice day. |

yes its a big conspriacy to undermind the wardriving
scene. everything ive posted is factual, if you must know details, yes i host the page for a coworker that is starting an antenna buisness. i am simply providing an option, if you wish to build your own antenna then by all means do it. if your not the do it yourself type then go ahead and pay lucent $60 for there 3db tung depressor if you wish. i personally think $25 for an antenna with a ntype and that has been tweaked on a anaylzer and is not made by someone that has no understanding of electromagnetic theory is a good deal. i leave you with this choice. |
