How to attach BiQuad?

Hey all I have been searching and reading extensivly on the BiQuad + Dish = Big gain, so i found my self a DTV dish, i had a BiQuad built and have been using it a little idependent (works good). So How exactly do i know at what heigh and angle to put the BiQuad on? Here is a picture of my dish and BiQuad.

Dish+Biquad

Also on the cable I got i know im going to need it longer. So do you guys suggest getting LMR-400, maybe 10-15 feet of it then getting one end N-Femail, and the other N-Male, then connect it to my smaller, thinner cable with pigtail?

Thanks!

Mount it in the same place and angle as the original LNB. That's the optimal postion for the dish. If you have the mechanical skills, you could make it adjustable, and then tweak it for the best SNR.

That would be exactly what you need to do.

Ok, yea i got it without a LNB, but I did the calculations and it came out to 10.69, so what now am i to do with that number? If i mesure 10.69 from the top of the dish is that were I should aim the biquad?

----Edit----

Looking from the second llink the 10.69 is how far away it needs to be? Sorry im a total n00b to this, gland there are ppl who know what they are doing.

I believe you would aim it at the center point of the dish.

Ok I played around with it a little, tomarrow i think im going to try to make a mount out of sheet metal, and drill two holes though the arm to make it swivel. Also I have searched but where is the best place to buy LMR-400? I see Fab-Corp, but they charge, a lot of shipping. Do they charge a flat rate, I have never handled LRM-400 but from the pictures it looks like some heavy stuff.

Your best bet is still to go with fab-corp. Sean gives you a discount if you mention that you found them through this forum.

Well, i made a mount out of sheet metal. I drilled two holes in the mount and the arm, works good but don't have the correct size bolt, and the can is held on because I need to find a bigger can. Incase your wondering the BiQuad broke before I even got to use it. Here Is A Picture Hard to see the mount cause of the duct tape holding the can on.
