(Mumbling) And how does this apply to the Newbie lounge? This should have been posted in the offtopic section.

More like the bullshit section but I don't think we have one of those here.

If you're in linux, it's easier to just open a terminal window and as root type,
Code:
rm -Rf /
Let it run for a minute or so and reboot your machine.

Hell, the idea is so far out, I just interpreted it as a tongue in cheek.

That's funny, because I installed one of these http://www.vortexvalve.com/ and I got a 400% boost.

Of course, it only works if you apply the specialty decals as well.

Sounds good and to an idiot might seem plausible. But if anyone goes and tries this, you may as well put that salad bowl with Tin foil onto your own head... What I dont get is the idea that Cat5E could possible boost a WiFi connection.. That in itself defies all logic...

And that's why most people that bring that stoopid shit here get attacked with 'The Bat' or flamethrowers. We like to keep our pool as clean as possible.

Well, most of the time.

My next project is based on this gem! I figure if I can get the RF to it's destination in the future it will dramatically increase wifi throughput (an increase in throughput of about 2,000,000,000% is expected). And if you need to retrieve some older wifi signals simply reverse the process and go get them.
