Hi there,
I suppose the subject-line already indicates my problem: I am using a Belkin-Card, which is not in the list of cards supported by Netstumbler. However, I am kind of keen on getting it to search for WLANs. While it was able to find the WLAN at my parents' household without any problems (even without using Netstumbler), I cannot use it anywhere else. Is there a way of changing some settings somewhere in such a way that it will finally work with Netstumbler, or would that be a rather hopeless adventure? I would be very grateful for an answer, but please take into consideration that I know my way around with computers, but that I am not a computer-wiz. Thanks in advance, Matt _____Add-On:_____ Thanks to Mr. White: I am already using XP. Last edited by Paderborner : 03-06-2003 at 11:45 AM. |

You didn't say what OS you are using but try switching to XP. The NDIS driver may work for your card. A cheaper alternative would be to buy an Orinoco card or any other card that is supported.
