How to chang a SONY to Silver?
Can anyone explain step by step how to change the SONY VAIO to a Silver or Gold? Also, what firmare you are using. Basically anything would help.

is the card you are talking about an orinoco based card or is it a another. if it is an orinoco based card and a bronze card then you cant do any thing with it. if it is a silver card then you can cange it to a gold.
if it is a world mini pci card you no hope except to send it to orinoco.

SONY Vaio card is Silver
It has 40 bit encryption (Silver) and can be upgraded to 128 Bit encryption (gold).
