How to measure antenna gain
Hi Guys & Girls(?). Done a search and can't find the answer. How do you measure antenna gain?
My best guess is build a dipole (gain 2.1dBi) and compare it to what you want to measure. I'm building microwave patch antennae and don't have any sophisticated equipment.

That would only work if your construction technique is perfect.
