they got some good gear, but have a $100 min spending
limit. which is stupid since they have the 15dbi parabolic
grid antennas on special for $45, you gotta go spend extra
on B.S. you dont need.. i had to get a surge protector.

I just called HyperlinkTech this morning and was very disappointed to hear they jacked up the prices to the pigails and 2.4 Ghz antennas as well as placed a minimum of $100 per order. I normally work during the times they are open and was unable to order from them any earlier since they are open Mondays to Fridays only. The salesman on the other end said they changed their prices and ordering policy two days ago(a Saturday?) and have yet to update the website with the $100 minimum order. I've been saving up for some time to order from them and they changed the price. Do these guys even want our business or not?? Not I'm thinking about going somewhere else and perhaps getting a Maxrad magmount instead. I'm re-considering other alternative sources for equipment if anybody has recommendations on a magmount mobile antenna (I know Hyperlink's doesn't sell a magmount). Just be warned that they recently changed their prices and policies. This sucks.

It seems that a lot of people have been wanting to order stuff, so perhaps you should get a group buy going...? Maybe.

there are other places to get rf gear, someone posted
a bunch of links somewhere in this forum.
its crazy that someone would put a limit on your
purchase amount, especially in this economy. atennas
have like 98% profit, i dont get there beef, theres no semiconductors involved at all. its made in mexico too.
if was made in the USA id say ok no prob, but its rediculous
from any angle.

A lot of companies that do a lot of volume find that they increase their bottom line when they enforce a minimum purchase amount. I know of a lot of suppliers that do this. They don't like having to pay for the overhead of a $7 order.
