I'm thinking of buying an iBook, and would like to be able to stumble with it, using an external antenna.
Anyone had success routing a pigtail from the airport card to outside the case, without mangling the shell too horribly?

Wow, excellent! Better than I could have hoped, no mangling required! I'll have to head down to the Apple store and inspect this first-hand.
Thanks very much!

I use my modem so my temporary solution when needed is just to lift the keyboard up (3 clips) as the airport card is directly underneath and let the pigtail run out from under it.. works fine if it is just sitting on the car seat - not so good if you want to move around with it alot.
