Talking inside my router :)

Ok, so i opened up my wireless router today :P (I have this, "lets open things up" thing )

i noticed it has 2 antenna connectors, on one the antenna is connected, the other is free. Can someone identify this connector for me? its realy small so i figured it must be something like MC or MCX or whatever its called, but im new to this stuff so i dont really know. I tried searching on google but only thing I could find out that its based on a UNEX design.

I want to see if i can connect 2 antennae or replace the standard one with a better antenna

Any one who can help ?

edit: woops forgot the links to the pics :P

You're going to have to get a closer shot to be able to tell what the connector is. Also, unplugging the male end and photgraphing that would help, too.

You can also check the FCC site. Sometimes they have some details in the documentation as to the connector type.

It appears that there is a second antenna jack installed on the RF card. But it may be difficult to determine if it is operational without some test equipment and/or a schematic.

Usually, you don't want to publish your MAC address on a public site. By the way, the second picture isn't loading.

That is a strange one. Even allowing for the bad focus, it almost looks like a Hirose, but with Reverse Polarity.

The card looks like a miniPCI, and the connectors look like the ones used in the Dell laptops
