Linksys WAP11 and Apple Airport Express - Range Extenders?
Hi all,

I have an 802.11B Linksys WAP11 AP and an Airport Express. I am just wondering if there is a way that I can bridge these together to expand the coverage of my wireless network. I don't mind which is the AP and which is the repeater, but as far as I have read, the WAP11 only supports other WAP11's and the Airport only other Airports. Does anyone know of custom firmware or a way to get round this?

No, both units only work and play with like kinds. They're kind of exclusive that way.

looks like only the WAP54G is supported in OpenWRT
You might be out of luck.
