Linksys WPC11 PPC2K3

I hate to make this my first post, especially because it does not pertain to Ministumbler particularly. However I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems with the WPC11 as I have. I have spent all afternoon googling myself to death trying to get my WPC11 (Ver. 1) working on my IPAQ 3850. It is a PCMCIA card, and I am using the sleeve. Before I managed to install the WinCE driver for 2.5 off the linksys website and it installed and after setting WPC11NDS.DLL as the driver for the card it worked. However that was under PPC2000 (ce3). and there is no cab for CE42 :-/. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they did, if they resolved it. I would really prefer to keep this card for a bit longer...

One last note, anyone have any recommendations for Orinocos? (<US$50)

Thanks in advance for any help you guys might have, the mass of my nails is considerably lesser as a result of this, .

If you're using PPC2003, then you are out of luck. It no workie no more.

Too bad, PPC2002 was fine on the 3700, 3800, 3900 series iPAQS for most everything.

Well F, I think I may have the PPC2K2 Installer, I will downgrade then. Do the drivers work for 2K2?

I found a solution, have not tested yet, however at "www.stumbler.net" it provides the standard Proxim PPC2K3 drivers, if anyone else had my problem! give it a try.

Paul- I have the same setup as you used to have. PPC 2002 and the WPC11 V.1 card. I downloaded and installed the drivers for the 2.5 card used the driver name you specified above and I can get connectivity with the Linksys connectivity app. However Mini-Stumbler comes up and when I hit Scan I see at the bottom it flashes "The Specified XXX" and then is says "The Parameter XXX" The XXX's are behind the next box so I can not read the rest of what it is saying. Do you know what may be wrong here configuration wise???? I am using a Ipaq 3955 and the dual PCMCIA jacket.
