Linksys WPC54G Version 3 External Antenna
Hello, this forum was a large help to me while I was doing this project, so it only seemed right to create a user name and post here for others to see and get ideas from.
The card initially had a female U.FL connector on the board. I found a male U.FL connector and wire in an old laptop. I removed the female U.FL and soldered on the Male. I removed the SMA connector from an old PCI Wireless Card and soldered it to the wire, center wire to the inner pin and shield wiring to an outer pin. Then I wrapped up the extra wire, closed it up, and taped it with some scotch tape. The finished product works great. Thanks for the info. The Board SMA Connector Finished Card |

Isn't tape great! (ok, shut the fuck up with the wise cracks...you know who you are)
The only way that could have been better is if it were duct tape.. ;-)
