if that is what I think it is, its a decent pentium class pc, with a "disk on a chip" hd... basically these things have a 8-10 gig disk/chip which is bootable..
the fastest I have seen is a 300 mhz and 1 ram slot.

but.. to do some stumbling etc... its overkill

I made a few setup with these SBC "Single board PC", boards..

In the end I stopped using them for the following reasons.

1. Cost, these boards arn't cheap.
2. The "Disk on chip" chip are super expensive (Max size 1GB)
3. Must use a custom case (Esp if you put in a PCI card)
4. PC104 cards cost big $$$ and its hard to find certain boards (GB Ethernet)
5. Limited upgrade possibilities..

For these reasons and a few more, I have switched ofer to using VIA EPIA MII-12000 boards, with a Molex case As they use standard parts, are much more upgradeable, and cost less... It's whats @ the heart of "BikeStumbler"...

Add to this setup an 8in touchscreen and your set... Everything fits in a briefcase and is easily transported anywhere. I also use it in the car via an UPS and transformer, although I don't have to as the EPIA take 12v

I've been looking at those boards. http://www.mini-box.com/s.nl/sc.8/ca...it.A/id.361/.f Do you know if they (12v atx ps) have a remote shutdown switch that can be connected to car ignition switch?
