Low Power High Sensitivity
Disclaimer: I searched, I swear.
I am looking for a relatively low powered yet highly sensitive PC card. Something that I can attach a nice antenna to, as well. Working with Windows XP, please. The basis for this is that I can get an amp if I so desire, but something with a nice, hot front end is a must. I would prefer it to be able to do b/g, although I am somewhat of a newb, so please advise as to the best course of action. Will be used to low power directional connection. 100mW will work, so will 35mW. Most important thing is the recieve sensitivity. Thanks! |

Seattle Wireless and Personal Telco used to have comparison charts of all available cards including the TX power and RX sensitivity. It seems to me that they also had notations regarding antenna connections, too.
