If range is a problem, maybe one of those 24DBi unidirectional dish antennas would help.
![]() Speaking of which...does anyone know of an antenna rotator device that doesn't take forever to rotate around? I've considered putting one of those dishes with a rotator on my truck's roof rack (discretely concealed...like one of those roof-rack storage boxes or something) with the controller mounted internally.

I just ordered some Orinoco Gold cards. And I would like to know what the best option is for a pigtail connector.
From what i've learnt. The pigtail connectors sold by orinoco through Fab-corp are reliable however they are fragile. Can someone suggest whether it makes more sense (financially) to buy the parts. N-type + MC Card connector and put a pigtail together or just purchase one from Fab-corp.com for $22. Thanks.

I read somewhere else on the board that putting one of these things together is a pain, and not worth the time really if you only need a few... Though Borg Man, and Fungus both make them and advertise on this board.
