MapPoint 2000?

Anyone use mappoint 2000? I found it for cheap $20 I see alot of people here using 2002 but its too much money for me. Just want to know if 2000 is worth buying.

Maybe yif you get the 2000 version you will qualify to buy 202 at an upgrade price which is usually 1/3 to 1/2 the new price. Check if there is an upgrade price and if so, snag the 2000!

Voltron if you were interested in using StumbVerter, be aware that it only supports Microsoft MapPoint 2002...

*sigh* Why must Mickey $oft charge soo much money for things like this? I would be more than willing to shell out $80 for MapPoint2002 but @ $240+ it just seems like a total waste of cash.

I remember when a candy bar cost a nickel... (well no i don't).

Usually you can always join a developer or academic program that MS offers so the cost isn't so great, of course you must qualify to participate.

I just did a little browsing right off of MS's student site. Found MapPoint for 250 ($10 over retail) and 229 (10 under) lol I qualify for the student discounts. I will try my school...but I doubt it is any better.

with careful shopping, MP2002 can be had for under 100.00 on ebay. I bought mine there, new in box.
