5 dBi Magnetic Mount Omni Antenna

Id like to get a higher signal while im outside drinking on the porche, etc. I know alot of people use the first one for wardriving but with the second one, I can velcro it on my laptop lid since it's thin.

Do you have anything else to compare it to? Im almost done building a pringles cantenna but still need some aluminum spacers which I cant find. Yesterday I ordered my friend a HAWKING HWU54D for his desktop so Ill see how it compares to the cantenna which will almost cost the same.
