Most affordable stumbler hardware
My question is pretty simple, what is the most affordable wireless adapter out there that netstumbler for windows works with?
I currently have a linksys adapter and obviously I can't do much with that! However, I can't spend an arm and a leg on a new adapter. Preferably its USB so I can move the adapter around to get better reception. Also, Id like to factor in the ability to change my MAC address. On campus when you exceed your bandwidth quota, they throttle you -- so if I just change my mac, I get a new IP and its all good. |

Short answer: ORiNOCO Gold "Classic"
Slightly longer answer: RTFM. The FAQs and README file are all there for a reason. As to changing the MAC, it can be done on many devices. But how about something unique? Be honest and stay within the limits. They get set because some jerks spoil it for everyone else.
