Multi-Building Wifi Setup HELP!
OK heres the situation:
Main Offices have an existing Wifi network. I have Purchased a radiolabs omni directional 12db gain antenna I plan to mount on the roof of the main offices (about 25ft off the ground). I want to be able to access the existing network (and its internet connection) from other buildings on site. The furthest being 1500ft away, and the closest being 40ft away (in different directions) and everything else in between those distances in all directions. I have 6 definite buildings i would like to be able to connect from. I would also like to be able to have the existing ethernet networks at these locations join the main office network as one network. Questions: What other harware will I need? obviously an AP at the main offices for the antenna. Will i need another AP and high gain antenna at each location? What AP would you recommend? Is this even possible? Thank You |
