need bridge (ie Linksys wet11 etc.) advice please

I need to link to a remote open access point that is near my office. I want to use something permanent to put into my router, so two machines have access to this remote accesss point. I have a 15 dBi directional antenna that I would like to plug into something like a WET11 (Linksys) - this is a bridge, no? Well, since I obvioiusly have an external antenna, is there a bridge that is recommended and in the $100 range? I don't know if the WET11 takes an external antenna - does the one on there snap off or is it a mod? Are there any that don't need mods? I saw a cheap bridge that I think will work from d-link - the D-Link Air DWL-810. http://www.dlink.com/products/dwl81 any ideas about this? My main need is a product that has an external antenna connector and if not available for cheap, one that is easy to mod. Thanks!

I have a WET11 that I am using to connect my XBOX to the network. It does have an external antenna, you have to install it when you set it up. The antenna it comes with is just like the one on the BEFW11S4. Hope this info helps.

Slight correction, in case you're buying parts first. The antenna on the WET11 has an RP-SMA connector, which is what you'll need for the cable/pigtail to the directional. (The BEFW11S4 comes with RP-TNC connectors.)

Correct me if I'm wrong somebody but if it's another AP he's connecting to wouldn't he just need an AP running in client mode?

Doh! I guess I should have looked before I replied. I was like a kid at Christmas when I set everything up, I thought they were the same. Sorry for the confusion.
