Need help with ORiNOCO Drivers

Losing my cd for my drivers and software was probably the dumbest thing i could ever do.

I went to reload my laptop last night and couldn't find the cd. So I head on over to here

http://www.orinocowireless.com/suppo...downloads.html

And I can¡¦t for the life of me figure out what driver I am supposed to install

the card I have is the ORiNOCO Classic Gold PC Card which is the one you get with the stumbler special.

Can anyone help me out? I did a search and nothing came up thanks

Jason

Since Proxim bought everything from Agere, they haven't updated or released any new software/firmware for the original Lucent cards. They probably never will. They just wanted the Orinoco name to slap on their shitty cards.

According to a PDF I saw - http://www.orinocowireless.com/learn...hite_Paper.pdf it would appear that there will be an update for the Classic Cards - to support WPA etc.

Below is a screencap of my software versions (related to my above post)

That serial number might be something you want to blur out.

If I remember correctly, I think there was a WPA patch/update at the Windows Update site. Or maybe I'm sniffing too much glue because I thought WPA was an OS thing and not a card manufacturer thing. Must be the glue.

Wait.....This tube says, "Non-Toxic".

In fact, it's Elmer's School glue.

Tastes good though.

I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore.
