Older Orinoco Classic Gold Firmware
Could someone please email me a copy of an Orinoco Classic Gold firmware prior to 8.72? I've searched for wsu_810.exe (figuring if I find one old version, I'll find others) on Google and gone to Proxim's website, and haven't gotten any usable files. The reason for me wanting an older firmware is lately I've had to eject/reinsert my card because it stops scanning. The LED light stops blinking even though NS says it's still scanning. I'm hoping downgrading the firmware may fix this. I love the card, it's just frustrating having to pull over to reseat the card so I can continue.

Sounds similar to the error 0005 problem.
I think the problem was related to when certain pre-N routers were set to not broadcast their SSID.

itsnotme, I downloaded those files but they don't work. I get error messages in Windows.
