orinoco gold ROCKS

WOW ! Got my orinoco gold today and it seems to kick symbols ass all over the place ! Much better range in my iPaq than before. I'm also picking up AP's (in the site monitor) that I've never seen before (symbol site monitor) and are not being picked up by mini-stumbler. These would be closed networks ? kismet would see these ? Wow, just can't believe how great this thing is. Can't wait to get my pigtails, ordered them today from fab-corp then build an omni. Sorry, just kinda geeked.

same route, same time of day;

netstumbler on Dell laptop using internal mini-pci on seat: 7 ap's

mini-stumbler on iPAQ using orinoco gold on dash: 21 ap's

Very happy, especially since i got email today from fab that my pigtails and n panels have shipped. Now to pick up some pvc and find some brass rods and tubing.......... Just need to find a gps cheap and i'll be all set.

Garmin eTrex venture is working fine for your iPAQ. I've got the same setup, and here's the configuration of my iPAQ and Garmin.
