Orinoco Proxim AP Upgrade Kits
Hey all I have been trying to find out the differance with the upgrade kits from Orinoco fo rthere AP-2K line

The 5G Kit differance to there 11A Kit 8856-FC
The G Kit 8800-Fc to the plain B/G Card 8470-WD

Does anyone know the differences to these kits?

OK guys asking this one again
Anyone know the differnace in teh 8470-wd and the 8800-FC I have the b/g card now but I poped it in my Orinoco AP but it errors out.

anyone with an AP-2000 and tried this yet?

I know know the differance
Ok the b/g Kit physical diferance is that is it keyed liek a PCMCIA card and not a CARDBUS Card, although it acutally is a 32bit CardBus Card.

there is an antenna jack on it like theother Orinoco/PRoxim B/G and the AP-2000 will utilize it the AP-2000 will not utilize a normal B/G card, it comes up with unrecognized card.

anyone else with soem more info, BTW I am looking for to more 8800-FC cards!
