Orinoco rip-off??
Hey there,

I've just bought an Orinoco Classic Gold card. Its by Agere and I've noticed that the serial/FCC numbers are different to the 'real' ones with the Lucent chipset, however it does have MC connector (female) for an external antenna.... Any Ideas, i've posted a picture of the card.

Take your pick from one of these options :
A) You need to visit the optician, since your eyesight is failing you.
B) You have a subconcious aversion towards the digit 4, and fails to see it, when it is listed in proximity of other digits.
C) You really really need to look closer at things, before you purchase them.

You can also pick all three options, which I would do, if I were in your shoes.
Look at the FCCID on the first picture...

Here, see if this helps...

From your picture #1. Looks like the correct number to me.

The chipset in the above link is the same as this.
