i forgot to mention that i had already read the antenna FAQ and read trev's biquad.
i just wanted to know if ANY dish will work, like say an RCA or direcTV dish (perfectly round, not oval shaped) TY, off to build a wireless link |

Sorry, didn't know that. Direct tv dish worked for me. i just followed the instructions. I have the only sattelite dish on the block pointed at a neighbors house instead of northern sky lol.

NORTHERN sky? You must be way down there then. Up here, we point them due south just above the horizon.
