for the primestar dish/antenna

will any dish work, like a direcTV dish?

is there anywhere that has more details?

fyi looking to setup a 2 MI link los out in country w/o trees or any obstructions...

i forgot to mention that i had already read the antenna FAQ and read trev's biquad.

i just wanted to know if ANY dish will work, like say an RCA or direcTV dish (perfectly round, not oval shaped)

Sorry, didn't know that. Direct tv dish worked for me. i just followed the instructions. I have the only sattelite dish on the block pointed at a neighbors house instead of northern sky lol.

All of our dishes look like they are pointed at the neighbors house! Minimum dish size up here is 30 inches. I wish those little direct tv dishes worked up here. Then I would have some to play with!
