Proxim b/g & Pocket PC
I've been enjoying my new Proxim b/g card, and noticed that it is not supported on Pocket PC. Anyone have some inside info on if they plan on this? I'm bummed since I have my eye on a new iPaq (and I already have every expansion pack from a previous iPaq I owned). I'm hoping since it's a new product they'll add support for Pocket PC later...

at this point, as far as I am aware, there are no pocket PCs that support cardbus slots. So none of the 54mbps cards (g and a) will work in them. Maybe in a year or two we'll see faster Pocket PC/Windows Mobile hardware and cardbus support, but until.
If it's a must-have you could get something like this: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,46749,00.asp http://www.mobilemag.com/content/100/333/C1012/ |
