proxim orinoco 8470-WD versus 8470-FC
I've only done a bit of research regarding these two types of orinoco cards, but I was wondering whether anyone has any hands on experience comparing the two (i.e. transmit power comparisons, sensitivity comparisons, etc). I'm curious whether the FCC approved version has a lower or higher transmit power than the "world" version. Proxim's site indicates only a minimal spec sheet. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

FCC approved has channels 1-11 only and has the same power output rating as the "world" version.
