Recent G-Card w antenna jack + linux support
Hi there,
i've been using an old "Gold" for some time now, and i plan to "upgrade" to a G-card. My problem is that i cannot decide which card is right... "Have to"s: + Antenna jack (would be nice if this would be an Orinoco MC, but doesnt have to be) + 802.11g support + Almost native linux support, something like ipw2100 drivers would be ok (get the tarball, configure, make and ready. I don't want to have to "hack") Ideas: - Search function ;-) Found some information about the famous buffalo card (which has a jack, but has to be used with ndiswrapper -> evil), the newer orinoco cards 8470-wd (which causes problems with windows) and the prism54-family (which has nice drivers, but... see for yourself: Quote:
And this leaves me, again, with nothing... any recommendations / experiences? |
