Senao 2511CD ext2 not working with ANY ssid

I just bought a 2511CD ext2 and it is not working with an ANY or null SSID. I can get it to connect and detect an AP (in both XP Wireless Zero and NS) if I manually configure the SSID with WLANSTA (the cards little config program.) Even WLANSTA's site survey fails to detect anything.

Obviously this problem inhibits NS ablility to detect anyting. This problem still occurs when NS attempts to autoconfigure the card too.

My firmware is 1.08 and the drivers are from 10/17/03.

Any ideas? Is there any other catch all SSIDs betsides ANY or null for this card?

What antenna are you using on it? It doesn't have one built in.
