Anyone knows what is the chipset in this card? I'm thinking of buying it, but I really needed an usb card that's completely compatible with netstumbler, airopeek and airoplay. If this card has the same chipset as the pci version (atheros) then it's compatible with everything. Does anyone know if it has?

On a side note: Atheros is NOT completey compatible with NS.

ok, but it should be more compatible than my current SMC 2835 (ndis mode), and anyway, it is compatible with the other programs.

I don't know about you, but my atheros cards only work (used loosely) with NDIS.

From the README...

Most 802.11b, 802.11a and 802.11g wireless LAN adapters should work on Windows XP. Some may work on Windows 2000 too. Many of them report inaccurate Signal strength, and if using the "NDIS 5.1" card access method then Noise level will not be reported. This includes cards based on Atheros, Atmel, Broadcom, Cisco and Centrino chip sets.

You need to make up your mind and stop wasting time.
